History

Founded in 1936 as David Moss Pty Ltd, Damos has grown from its humble beginnings on Scarborough Beach Road in Perth, Western Australia, into one of the country’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of HDPE and PVC pipe systems. Over the decades, we have built a solid reputation for innovation, quality, and service excellence, becoming a key player in industries such as mining, infrastructure, oil and gas, civil construction, and agriculture.

KEY MILESTONES

In 1936, Damos was established in Perth, marking the beginning of our journey as a trusted supplier of piping solutions.In 1960, we relocated to a newly built facility in Neerabup, Perth, which became the base of our operations in the northern suburbs. This year also marked a significant turning point for the company as we transitioned from David Moss Pty Ltd to the David Moss Corporation, laying the groundwork for future growth and expansion. In 2012, continuing our expansion, we acquired PPI Industries in Brisbane, enabling us to establish HDPE pipe manufacturing capabilities in Queensland. This acquisition enhanced our ability to serve clients across the eastern states and further cemented our national footprint.

Throughout our history, we have consistently expanded our product offerings and services to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Today, Damos is recognised for manufacturing and supplying HDPE pipes, PVC pipes, and a wide range of fittings, as well as for providing advanced HDPE fabrication and custom assemblies from our state-of-the-art facilities in both Perth and Brisbane. Our product portfolio includes high-quality HDPE and PVC piping systems, electrofusion fittings, mechanical fittings, compression fittings, backing rings, and more. We also provide a range of fabrication services, including spool fabrication and custom welding solutions, ensuring that contractors and asset owners can rely on us for efficient project execution.

Commitment to SustainabilitY

For over a decade, Damos has been committed to sustainable practices through our comprehensive HDPE and PVC recycling services. Operating under ISO 9001:2018 accreditation, our recycling program has enabled us to recycle over 2000 tonnes of HDPE and 50 tonnes of PVC per year, contributing to a circular economy and supporting the sustainability goals of our clients.
